Support the Government to Komesha Corona, urges health CAS

The Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Health, Dr. Rashid Aman has today confirmed 104 new positive cases of Covid-19 infections from a sample size of 2,820 in the last 24 hours. This now brings the total case load in the country to 4,478. The number of tests done till date now is 136,361.

All cases are Kenyan nationals aged between 1 year and 76 years old. Nairobi leads with 60 cases, Mombasa 33, Kilifi 5, Busia 3 Kajiado 2 snd Taita Taveta 1.

In Nairobi, 22 of the cases are from Lang’ata, 19 from Kibra, 11 from Westlands, 3 from Starehe, 2 from Dagoretti North and 1 each from Embakasi South, Kasarani and Embakasi East. In Mombasa, 13 are from Changamwe, 8 from Mvita, 5 from Kisauni, 4 from Jomvu, 2 from Likoni and 1 from Nyali. In Kilifi, all cases are from Rabai and in Busia, 2are from Matayos and 1 in Teso. Kajiado has 2 cases from Loitoktok and Taita Taveta’s case is from Taveta.

He also announced that 36 more people have been discharged from hospitals taking the number of recoveries to 1,586. On a side note, the CAS reported that 2 more people.
