Nairobi leading with number of confirmed Corona cases

Kenya is still experiencing a rise of confirmed cases of Corona virus as the ministry of health announces 8 more cases today out of 694 test samples. This results in a total of 216 confirmed cases in the country.
The Ministry of Health, Chief Administrative Secretary, Dr. Mercy Mwangangi announced that Nairobi is leading with number of people who have tested positive with 101 cases, followed by Mombasa 34, Kilifi 10, Kiambu 7 and Mandera and Machakos which have 6 each. Other counties affected are Nakuru with 5 , Kitui, Laikipia, Kajiado, Muranga, Kakamega, Nyandarua, Siaya and Uasin Gishu 2 cases each and Kisii, Homabay, Nyamira, Nyeri, Vihiga and Kwale have one case each.
Five of the 8 are Kenyan nationals while the other three are reported to be foreigners from Briton, Pakistan and Uganda. 6 of them have travel history around UAE, UK, Pakistan , Zambia and Comoros.
The cases are distributed in Nairobi with 6, 1 from Siaya and 1 from Nakuru. 6 of the cases are from the mandatory quarantine centres while the remaining 2 were picked up by the surveillance teams.
The ministry also announced that 1 person has been discharged from hospital bringing the number of recoveries to 41.
