More test positive from 380 samples tested

The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe has today announced that 22 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours from a total of 380 samples tested from 4 labs. These are National Influenza Center, KEMRI, CDC and Aga Khan laboratories. The number of infections now stand at 81.
From today’s numbers, 18 are Kenyans, 2 from Pakistan and 2 from Cameroon. In terms of gender, 13 are male and 9 female with the age distribution being between 23 years and 71 years.
The cases are spread out in Mombasa with 7 and Kiambu, Kakamega, Kilifi, Machakos, Muranga, Nyamira and Nairobi each recording 1 case.
