Kenya surpasses 100-mark of recovered patients

8 new recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours bring the number of recoveries to 106.The number of recoveries has seen a steady upward trend while the fatalities have stagnated, reported the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Health ,Dr. Rashid Aman. Within the last week, the number of deaths has remained at 14 while 39 people have been discharged within the same period.
He also announced that 12 more cases were confirmed bringing the number of infections in the country to 355. Nairobi has 8 cases while 4 are from Mombasa. All 12 are Kenyans with 3 having a history of travel from Somali. The age range is between 14 and 60 years.
The Nairobi cases are spread out between Kibera 2, Karen 1, Dandora 1, Eastleigh 1, Kasarani 1, South B 1 and Umoja 1. Mombasa’s four cases are from Mvita-Kuze 1, Mishomoroni 1, Mvita-Bondeni 1 and Barsheba 1.
