A trend of infections starting to emerge in Nairobi and Mombasa

Kenya is still continuing to see a rise of new positive cases mainly in Mombasa and Nairobi. The government of Kenya has urged Kenyans to continue to embrace the measures put forward by the ministry of health to help in fighting this disease.
The ministry of Health through the Chief Administrative Secretary, Dr. Mercy Mwangangi has today announced the following statistics regarding the Corona virus disease. We have 5 new discharges resulting in a total of 129 recoveries. However, 10 new positive cases from a total of 508 test samples have been recorded from 14 counties which brings the total number of infected people to 384.
The 10 cases are distributed as follows; 9 are from Mombasa and 1 from Nairobi. The 9 in Mombasa were picked from Old town, Santana, Miritini, Bamburi, Mikindani, Kibokoni,Ganjoni, Memon and Tudor. In Nairobi, the case is from Kawangware.
In terms of age bracket, the youngest is aged 12 years while the oldest is aged 63 years of age. As of gender, 6 males and 4 females. In addition, Kenya has 1 new death resulting in a total of 15 confirmed fatalities.
The government has continued to urge Kenyans to continue to dedicate themselves to fighting this virus as they partner with Mombasa county on containment measures to curtail the spread of the infection.
