20 people admitted at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital

The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon Mutahi Kagwe, today announced 4 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed from 372 samples tested within the last 24 hours, bringing the total of those who have tested positive to 126.
From the 4 cases, 3 are Kenyans and 1 a Pakistani National. In terms of gender, 3 are male with 1 female with the age range being between 34 years for the youngest and 44 years for the oldest. Also, 2 of the cases had traveled from Malawi and Pakistan while the rest contracted the disease locally, said the CS.
From the 2,050 indivduals who have been in mandatory quarantine, a total of 1,866 people have been tested.
The CS also disclosed that the Government has utilised the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital as a centre and has transported 20 Covid-19 related patients for treatment and quarantine.
