One fatality recorded with more being discharged

The health Chief Administrative Secretary, Dr. Rashid Aman has today announced that 120 people have tested positive for the virus from a total of 2,221 samples tested in the last 24 hours. This now brings the total case load in the country to 6,190.
All confirmed cases are Kenyans except 5, with 84 being males and 36 females aged between 6 years old and 83 years old.
The distribution of the cases in counties is; Nairobi 67, Mombasa 17, Kajiado 9, Machakos 9, Kiambu 8, Uasin Gishu 4, Nakuru 2, Kilifi 2 and Narok 2.
In Nairobi, Westlands has 12 cases, Dagoretti North 11, Langata 11, Kibra 6, Makadara 4, Starehe 4, Kamukunji 3, Embakasi Central, Embakasi East, Embakasi North, Embakasi South, Embakasi West and Mathare all having 2 cases each, Kasarani, Roysambu, Ruaraka and Umoja each having 1 case each.
In Mombasa, Mvita has 6, Jomvu 5 with Changamwe, Kisauni and Likoni have 2 cases each. In Kajiado, 6 are from Loitoktok and 3 from Kajiado North. In Machakos, 4 are from Athi River, 3 from Machakos Town and 2 from matungulu. In Kiambu, 3 are from Juja with Gatundu South, Githunguri, Kabete, Kikuyu and Limuru having 1 each.
In Uasin Gishu, 2 are from Ainabkoi with Kapseret and Turbo recording 1 each.In nakuru, the cases are from Naivasha while in Narok the 2 are from Narok North.
The CAS also reported that 42 people have been discharged from various hospitals bringing number of recoveries to 2,013 while 1 more person has lost their life bringing fatalities to 144.
