More infections continue to be recorded

The ministry has today announced that 133 new cases have been recorded in the country in the last 24 hours. This number comes from a total of 3,365 samples tested bring the number of infections in the country to 3,727 and the cumulative number of samples tested to 118,701.

From today’s cases, Mombasa has 61, Nairobi 53, Kilifi, 7, Busia 6, Kiambu 2 with Kajiado, Nakuru, Muranga, and Kitui each recording 1 case each.

The positive cases are all Kenyans, with 93 being males and 40 females and the age range being 1 year old for the youngest and 70 years for the oldest.

The ministry also announced that 33 people have been discharged from various hospitals bringing recoveries to 1,286. The Health CS also reported that 1 more person has succumbed to the disease.
